Training of Trainers #1

In collaboration with the Para Ski Club for People with Disabilities, BRAVO is thrilled to announce an open call for six coaches to participate in the Training of Trainers program focused on skiing with people with disabilities.

This initiative aims to promote social inclusion through sports and raise awareness about the importance of physical activity in everyday life. The project highlights two key aspects of sport: using it as an educational tool for working with children and youth, and as a platform for developing positive values among sports professionals and coaches.

The program will enable knowledge transfer from experts to trainers and youth workers, ultimately reaching children and young people. It will gather 25 trainers from Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, and Montenegro, selected according to their skills and interests aligned with the project’s objectives.

During the initial training, participants will learn how to work with children who have different types of disabilities. A follow-up session will focus on creating practical games and workshops based on the knowledge acquired. These sessions will not only include sports but also integrate environmental awareness and cultural education, helping coaches design more inclusive activities.

After the training, local workshops will be organized where games and activities will be tested and refined based on feedback from children and parents. The second phase of the project focuses on children and includes the organization of two “Mountain Games for Everyone” events, designed to bring together children from different countries and with various disabilities.

Through these inclusive and joyful events, the project will showcase how sport can be a tool for learning, fun, and connection — highlighting the core values of cooperation, equality, and inclusion that define the spirit of the project.
