Training of Trainers #2

In collaboration with the Para Ski Club for People with Disabilities, BRAVO is thrilled to announce an open call for five participants — one coach and four children (up to 16 years old) — to take part in the Training of Trainers program focused on skiing with people with disabilities.

This training is designed to provide participants with both knowledge and practical experience, supporting the emotional and physical development of children. It fosters a sense of belonging and promotes emotional intelligence through engaging and inclusive physical activities.

Participants will explore theories and practices aimed at improving interpersonal skills, empathy, and teamwork among children. The program focuses on creating environments where every child feels valued and included, encouraging cooperation and mutual respect.

A key part of the project is the development of emotional intelligence, where educators learn techniques to help children recognize and manage their emotions effectively. Practical exercises and simulations will enhance participants’ ability to empathize, communicate constructively, and handle conflict positively — supporting children’s overall well-being.

The project also emphasizes physical activity adapted to children’s individual needs. Participants will learn about different exercise types suitable for various ages and abilities, as well as interactive games that build coordination, confidence, and team spirit.

Finally, the program highlights the educational potential of snow sports, encouraging trainers to integrate skiing and similar activities into inclusive learning programs. By combining safety, creativity, and inclusivity, educators will discover innovative ways to use snow sports as tools for growth, connection, and fun.
