The midterm meeting for the CooperationSport4All project was held at the BRAVO office in Sarajevo between January 16th and 18th, bringing together project partners and stakeholders to evaluate progress and define the next steps. The CooperationSport4All initiative focuses on promoting inclusion through sport for people of all ages, fostering community cohesion and ensuring equal opportunities for participation. This meeting marked an important milestone in maintaining the project’s direction and ensuring its long-term impact.
Upon arrival in Sarajevo, participants were welcomed by ASFAS, one of the key project partners, during an engaging opening session. Initial discussions focused on project management and coordination, under Work Package 1 (WP1), led by Marina Vukotić from ASFAS. She provided updates on coordination efforts since the project’s inception, emphasizing the importance of effective communication, transparency, and shared responsibility among all partners to ensure smooth implementation across regions.
The following session explored trainer engagement and activity implementation, part of Work Package 3 (WP3). Trainers play a crucial role as the direct link between the project’s goals and the communities benefiting from its activities. Marina Vukotić once again led the discussion, presenting progress on trainer participation, their ongoing work in delivering inclusive sports activities, and the positive results achieved so far. Partners also reflected on lessons learned and ways to further enhance the program’s effectiveness.
The final session of the meeting focused on Work Package 4 (WP4) — the development of a scientific paper documenting the project’s research, methodologies, and outcomes. Marina Vukotić presented the progress made on this publication, which will serve as a key intellectual output, offering valuable insights into how sport can foster inclusion and social cohesion.
